As most of you know, Brad's most favorite holiday is Christmas. He told me this when we first started dating and I didn't really think anything of it. After our first Christmas together, I quickly realized how much he really did love it and I love that he loves it so much! He makes Christmas so much fun because he's like a little kid. It is especially fun now that we are married and we get to decorate our little home and buy Christmas things for our home. Yes, we put our Christmas decorations up before Thanksgiving, but it's fun to celebrate it for more that just a month. I love his love for Christmas and how much fun we've been having! New beginnings

Well, a lot has happened since the last post. Were married now!!! YAY!!! Married life is so much fun! We are still getting settled and trying to find a place for everything. But it's fun. Things are starting to get crazy right now. I am still working and The Barry Family Dental group and I work Tuesday through Friday during the day. Brad goes to school Monday through Friday 5:30-9:30 and Saturday 8-5. Then he has work Mon-Thurs 10 pm-3 am and Saturday 5:30 pm-3 am. Its hard cause our schedules are so oppisite, but it's alright. Of course we hate not seeing each other, but it's only until the end of August. Other than that things are wonderful! Here are some pictures from our wedding just for fun.

Jazz game!

Brad and I went to the Jazz game last night! He had the day off so we went up early and went and walked around Gateway. We went to a really yummy cookie place and got cookies and hot chocolate:) then we had to go take pictures where brad proposed, of course! For dinner, we went to Cafe Ole and it was delicious! I suggest going there if you are planning on eating at a game! The game was fun, got a little scary there for a minute, but the pulled it off and won! Go Jazz!

We're getting married!

YAY!!! So, here's the story! Brad and I decided the beginning of February we were going to get married May 20. We had the temple on February 8. On Saturday we decided to go to lunch in Salt Lake. But, Brad told me before we went to lunch he wanted to go to the energy solutions arena and take pictures by John Stockton and Karl Malone. In my mind i was like "okay." So we got there and we were just looking at the statues and taking pictures and walking around. And I didn't think he was going to propose because he told me he didn't have the ring. Then he told me he loves me and he can't wait to marry me and spend forever with me. Then we walked a little bit and then he said "Remember how I told you I don't have your ring yet? Well, (and he started pulling the ring box out of his pocket) I have something for you." Then, he got down on one knee and said "Karlee Marie Sundberg, will you marry me?!" I was just laughing and so giddy and so excited and of course i said "YES!!!" It was perfect! Little trickster:) He proposed there because our first date was a Jazz game:) We are so excited and can't wait!

Brad had to work that night, which was sad because we just got engaged... but, there is no one else I would want to spend it with than my best friend, Natlie!

Remember my post about how chocolate is better that flowers. Yeah, I think I lied... Brad gave me these flowers on Valentine's day (first flowers from him in 2 1/2 years :) ) and they do do a wonder for a girl's day! Thanks, babe!

Saturday was Brad's bday and we celebrated by have a triple birthday bash for Brad, Nat and Adam by going to Malawi's Pizza in the riverwoods. It's so good! If you haven't been there, you should go for sure! I promise you won't be disappointed! Plus, for ever meal they sale, they donate a nutritious meal to an orphan in Africa! Then Brad and I went and saw the new True Grit. It was a great movie! It was a really fun day!Me and the birthday boy!

Things have been going really well lately! I now have three jobs! I am still working at Curves, still at the Treasurer's office and... wait for it... wait for it... I got a job at a dentist office!!! YAY!!! I am now part of the Barry Family Dental group! I got hired about 2 weeks ago and I am loving it! It's going great! Here are some random pictures from the past couple weeks!

Well, it has been several months since I have updated. I just haven't had anything to blog about. Life hasn't changed much. Still working at curves and currently helping out part time in the treasures office at the County building. Life is going pretty good. Can't complain. Still looking for a dental assisting job. It's so hard and I have the worst luck! That's about all for now!

What's better than flowers...

In the year and a half Brad and I have been dating, he has never given me flowers. He tells me they just die. And I tell him, but they're SO pretty! So instead of flowers, he gives me chocolate. Which, who doesn't like chocolate? I am a typical girly girl, so as most girls, I LOVE getting flowers. So I occasionally "hint" to him that I would love to get flowers, and that they're so pretty. It never works. He did attempt to give me flowers when I graduated from MATC, but he gave me ice cream instead. Who can complain about that, not me! So I thought this Valentines would be different. I hoped that he would MAYBE get me flowers. Did he, nope. But, I finally realized something. Something that he's been trying to explain to me the whole time we've been dating. For Valentine's day I got him Jazz tickets for us to go to a game. So, he took me to Fanzz to get a Jazz shirt to wear to the game. We were talking on Sunday night, and I was telling him how much I love flowers and how pretty they are. And he said, "Wouldn't you rather get a shirt you can wear instead of flowers that just die in a few days?" That is when I realized, getting yummy chocolates and shirts and things you can keep and eat, and things that don't die, are much BETTER than flowers. There, I said it. Thanks babe!

P.S. I still love flowers! But, I love chocolates even MORE!

Brad and I had a great Valentines weekend! Since it was on Sunday, we celebrated it on Saturday. We figured it would be very busy going to dinner Saturday night, so we went to lunch! We went to this great place called The Smoking Apple. It is so good! I would highly recommend it! I got Brad tickets to a Jazz game so we went to Fanzz and he got me a shirt to wear to the game! I am very excited! Then on Sunday, we just spent the day together and it was GREAT!!! Sorry, I forgot to take pictures. I have been horrible at that lately! I'll post some of the Jazz game! That is if I remember to take pictures! :)

Well, I thought that so much happened in one weekend, I would do it all in one post! On the Friday after Thanksgiving Spanish Fork had it's annual light parade. It was so much fun and even better than last year, I think! It was a great night with Brad's fam! Then, on Saturday, me, Brad, Joel and Jaime went to the festival of lights and salem pond! It was cold, but so much fun. Then, we of course went to Glade's because it's the best place in the world! Then, on Sunday we went to Brad's sister, Kim's house for the annual Stubby Pringle. It's a movie and a book that Brad's family have been watching and reading for a long time. It was a GREAT thanksgiving break and I'm sad it's over and back to real life. I can't wait for Christmas! I'm getting so excited!

A Sunday drive, Morning hike and Blackhawk

I decided that since I have some catching up to do, that I would just do it all in one post.

Last Sunday, Brad and I took a Sunday drive up Provo Canyon. It is so pretty up there! We went up South Fork and then to Big Springs. It took my breath away. It was gorgeous! We are so lucky to be surrounded by these beautiful colors. And I honestly never remember it being this pretty.

Last Wednesday, after going up the canyon on Sunday. We decided to hike up to Big Springs. It was a beautiful hike and I had never done it before. It was fun! The colors again were amazing!

Brad's parents decided to go up to Blackhawk this weekend so Brad and I decided to join them on Sunday. Provo canyon is pretty, but I've never seen ANYTHING like Payson canyon. It was AMAZING!!! We had a great time up there, and like always, we didn't want to come home! We enjoyed the nice weather, went on some walks, and took LOTS of pictures!!!

I went camping with Brad and his family for Labor Day weekend again! It was so much fun! We went up on Friday and just hung out and waited for everyone to get there. Then, on Saturday we just took it easy and played games. We listened to the BYU game and it was awesome. It was a great night! Then, on Sunday we went fishing, we went to a different lake than before and I swear that EVERYONE caught a fish except me! I have never caught a fish! I was a little sad! I was also sad because I had to leave early. After dinner I had to go home because my family was going to Lagoon on Monday. I was sad to leave, but was happy to go with my family to Lagoon. On Sunday, Brad had the idea of going to the Salt Lake City cemetery! I thought it was a great idea, so we ate dinner and left! It was so much fun. The cemetery is HUGE so we had to drive around just looking for names on the graves. But, we ended up finding ten Presidents of the church, and there aren't even burried there, so I think we did pretty good! Then, we decided to go walk around Temple Square and it was way pretty! It was a great day!

I just wanted to let all of you know, that I FINALLY found a dental assisting job! I got it at the office I did my internship at! YAY!!! It is part time, so that means I will still be able to work at Curves! I am very excited about this, and I can't wait to start! I start on August 24. Our friends, Nathan and Nicole are leaving soon for graduate school at Penn State. So, we wanted to spend the day with them before they left! We drove up to Dairy Keen in Heber to get train burgers. They were yummy. Then, we went and hiked Stewart Falls! I have never been on that hike and it is now one of my favorite. It is so pretty! Then, we roasted hot dogs and starburts and s'mores at Brad's house and watched Toy Story 2. It was a lot of fun! We'll miss you guys!

For my birthday, Brad took me to the Spanish Fork rodeo! It was my first time ever going and I was so excited to go! It was SO much fun! I loved everything about it! This year was my best birtday ever! To start the day off, Brad took me to breakfast at Magelby's Fresh! I LOVE their french toast, so yummy! Then he bought me some of their delicious chocolate cake to share! Then, I went to lunch with my mom, grandma, sister and sis-in-law and cousin at Iggy's. It was very good! Next, we went and got pedicures! That is one of the best things about being a girl! It was so much fun! Then I went shopping with my mom! After Brad got off work, we hung out and watch The Phantom of the Opera! It was a wonderful day! We also went to the Spanish Fork rodeo for my birtday, pictures coming SOON!!! A trip to the temple

On Wednesday, Brad and I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. We left here at 8:15 to the get there at 9:00. I liked it how you parked right at the temple. The temple was so pretty, I loved it! And the grounds were gorgeous! And of course after we got our cookie and water! Then we walked around the temple and took some pictures! Then, we went to a pond just down the road from the temple. We walked around it and it was so pretty and it was a beautiful day! After that, we drove home and went to lunch at the new restaurant Terra Mia and it was so yummy! Then, later that night we went and walked around the Provo Temple and it is SO pretty at night!!! It was a great day!

What a great day! The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! Brad was supposed to work, but he got off early, yay! So we decided to go hike rock canyon. It was HOT but so fun! Then later we had a bbq with my family and went to the col-de-saq of fire and that was so fun! We had the Bonus Brother's come and even Carmen Rassmusen came! It was a lot of fun!!! I don't have the pictures from the hike and of course I forgot my camera for the col-de-saq of fire so I only have a one!

Wow, it has been forever since I have posted. I have things to post about, I have just been lazy or too busy I guess!

The first thing I want to post about is St. George and Brian Regan. I went with Brad and his parents and it was SO fun! We headed down on Thursday and met Brad's parents at Bajio and it was yummy. Then we went to the Trailer, we stayed at Snow Canyon. What a gorgeous canyon! Then, it was off to Brian Regan! Oh my goodness! He is SO funny!!! That was my first time ever seeing him live and I LOVED it! He kills me. Then, on Friday we woke up and went on a fun hike of some pioneer names. Then we went to the outlets and ate lunch and then we went to Brigham Young's house. I love going there. It was a very fun trip!

I am going to post about two fun days I had when it was WARM weather. The first, was with Brad. We decided since it was such nice weather, we would go on a bike ride and have a bbq! We went on a bike ride up the canyon. It was fun! Then, Brad grilled us some yummy hamburgers :) It was a wonderful day! Us on our bike ride!

The SWEET TOOTH Fairy

Brad and I went to this little bakery called The Sweet Tooth Fairy down in Provo on University Ave. right by Hogi Yogi. It was like heaven! I think that EVERYONE should try this place. We got a cookie called black and white, a warm chocolate chip cookie, and a peanut butter cup cake with reese's peanut butter cups on top. We did have time to take pictures of the cookies because we ate them too fast. But, we did get one of the cupcake. And this doesn't do justice to how yummy it looks! They just stared a while ago so I'm trying to get spread to word. GO THERE!!!

This time last year

I was in the first ward and on the activities committee. I was a shy girl and didn't know or have a lot of friends in my ward. I usually sat by myself and didn't talk to very many people. It was sad, really. Then, at the ice cream social, that all changed.

Since I was like this, I spent most of my time in the kitchen with a few other girls. I met two of my best friends that night. One of the girls, Natalie, was telling some of us about something that had just recently happened to her and how she was going through a hard time. I joined in on the conversation and her and I were instantly friends. Why had I not been friends with her before?

I know that there is a reason we were both there that night and that we both needed each other in our lives. And, we still do. We are still there for each other whenever one of us needs something. No matter what. I am so grateful for wonderful friends.

This is also the night a very important person came into my life, Brad. You know, that crazy boy I'm dating:) Anyway, he was dating a girl at the time so I even though I was interested, I couldn't do anything about it.

He dated his girlfriend for a little bit longer, and then they broke up. Brad and I started dating a while later. I am so blessed to have him in my life. Knowing these people have truly made me who I am today and I am so lucky to know them. They have helped me so much in my life.

So, I was at Brad's house on Sunday and his little nieces were playing dress up. One of them came in the room with a Hannah Montana wig on and left it in the room. I grabbed it off the floor and put it on Brad's head! It was hilarious!!! We were all laughing SO hard. Maybe I should be a little worried out this... :)

Since Valentines day is on a Saturday and it will be SUPER busy, Brad and I decided to do it on Tuesday. We went out to The Olive Garden and it was so so yummy! This past week was so much fun! Having Brad have a break from school has been so nice. We've had lots of fun and i'm sad for him to go back to school. Last Tuesday, I went bowling with my Family! It was so much fun! I didn't do too well, but it was still fun being with them. Then, on Wednesday, New Years Eve, Brad and I ate dinner with my family and played games, and then went to his house to have a party with our friends. We had food, and played games and brang in the new year at midnight. It was so much fun! Then, on new years day, Brad and I went to Eagle Mountain to go sledding with Brad's family by their house. It was such a blast! We did that for a couple of hours and then went back to thier house for some good grub and played games. So, as most of you know, I just finished the dental assisting program at MATC. I am currently working at the Utah County Government Building in Provo and doing my internship at Dr. Brown and Easton's office. I recently was told that I was being let go at the county building since I'm only an intern. I am desperately trying to find a job as a dental assistant. So, if any of you know anyone who is a dentist or who is hiring or even who is an assistant or hygienest at an office PLEASE let me know!!! Since the economy is so bad right now, there aren't very many places hiring and a lot of places want experience, but the question is, how do you get it?! So please, let me know of anything you hear of! Thanks everyone!!!

Thanksgiving and then some!!!

This was a great thanksgiving. My parents and I met my brother and his wife and their baby and her family at the Marriot in Salt Lake. This is the best idea for thanksgiving-no cooking or cleaning! And DELICIOUS food! The only downfall is, no left overs. Thank goodness for an amazing mom! After stuffing ourselves, we went home to digest our food so we could go to my aunts house later for pie! That was yummy and great company! It was a very fun day. The day after thanksgiving, we put up our christmas decorations and made gingerbread houses. That's ome of my favorite traditions. That night I went with Brad and his family to the light parade in Spanish Fork and that was cold but fun. Then we went to the Pizza Factory for dinner and then to Salem Pond to see the lights.

I am so thankful to my wonderful family. I have been so blessed to be in a family that is so sweet and caring and would do anything for me. I have been blessed with the most amazing parents and 3 very wonderful older siblings with incredible spouses. I love spending time with them and their kids! I love them all dearly!

On Saturday, Brad and I carved pumpkins with his family! It was so much fun. We did them outside in his backyard and it was a beautiful day! All the kids did so good. I wish I had pictures of theirs! Brad's niece Getti's was the absolute best! haha. I couldn't decide what i wanted to do and i finally decided on a witch! I think it turned out pretty good. But, i REALLY love Brad's! I think it's so cool! I think i'll try something a little more challenging next year. Here are some pictures of our pumpkins!

Blackhawk... again!

Sorry, I know you're probably sick of hearing about Blackhawk and you probably think that's all I ever do. But, this is my third time going to this summer. The first time was with my ward, the second time was labor day with Brad's family, and this time was with Brad's family as well. Brad and I drove up friday night right after he got off work and met his parents up there. We had pancakes for dinner with DELICIOUS homemade rasberry jam that we all scarfed down! Then, Brad built a fire and we just sat around it. It was a beautiful night and the stars are always so pretty up there. The next morning, we rolled out of bed and were just lazy. While breakfast was being made, Brad and I went on a walk around the loop. It was GEORGEOUS!!! The leaves are changing colors up there and words can't describe how pretty it is up there. It is searously breathtaking. Then, after a delicious breakfast, it started raining off and on so we waited till it stopped and dried so we could go cut wood. That was the point of this trip. Was to get wood for the winter. While we were waiting for it to dry, we played games. Then, it dried up and we headed to get wood. The best part was the drive and seeing all the pretty leaves! After getting the wood, Laraine (brad's mom) and I read our Twilight books and Brad did homework. Then I took a nice little nap:) Then we got dinner ready and had BT's (we had no lettuce) and they were yummy! Then, we played more games! Then we made another fire and brad and i had s'mores! Then, Kim and Dave (Brad's sister and her husband) and their 3 girls suprised us and came to join the fun! They were originally supposed to come, but they had lots to get done! Then we all just hung out! We were glad to have them there! The next day we woke up and had another yummy breakfast! Then brad and i went on another walk around the loop. Then we took tons of cute pictures of his cute nieces. Then his other sister and brother in law, Traci and Jethro and their 2 little girls came up just in time for dinner! After dinner, we all just sat in the trailor NOT wanting to go home. I still don't want to be here! You would all understand if you've ever been there. It's AMAZING! I'm having some serious Blackhawk withdrawls! I miss it. But, we'll be going back soon!!! Thanks, Brad and Sheen's for the great time!:) Here are some pictures from the event!

Labor day weekend: Heber Valley Camp and Black Hawk

Heber Valley Camp
This was the best Labor Day i've ever had!. It was full of nonstop camping! First, on Friday, Krista, Sadie and i headed up to Heber Valley Camp for a Sundberg family reunion. It was beautiful up there. I had heard a lot about it, but never been there. It was nice to have cabins to sleep in and bunk beds. This is my kind of camping. After getting everything settled, we made dinner. Then we took the kids, Halle, Gray, Easton and Keagan on a walk. We saw some deer and the kids loved it. Then, the kids wanted to sing some songs, so, beind the girls camp experts that we are (my mom, liz, ashley and myself) we started to remember some songs we sang. One of the songs we remebered was "The Princess Pat" the kids LOVED it and we had to sing it a few times. Then we made a fire and sang it more. The next day we went on a hike with everyone and hiked all the way to the top of the mountain. The kids loved it! We then relaxed and waited for all the guys to get back from golfing. Then my uncle Kent cooked delicious TURKEY BURGERS. Yum Yum:). then we had dutch oven sticky buns and made s'mores. I had the brilliant idea (thanks to Brad) to tell shelly to bring reeses to have with our s'mores! We had to put the fire out by 8:00, but being the rebels that we are, kept it going. A missionary came and we got in trouble and had to put it out. So, since we were freezing and didn't want to go to bed yet, we went into one of the cabins and played cards. The next morning we woke up to my mom's sourdough pancakes! Then i got ready to leave so i could get home to head to blackhawk with brad. Everyone else went to the confidence course. I got home from heber valley on saturday and took a shower and got ready to go to blackhawk. Brad's mom's side of the family goes here every Fathers day and Labor day. They've been going for about 30 years. brad and i headed up there around 12:00. We got there and the first thing we did was go see our tree and take a picture! i LOVE it:). Then, we hung out in the camper for a while and talked with his family. Then, we went on a hike and we had no idea where we were for a while! Then we came back and got brad's niece alyssa and went to devil's kitchen. It was sweet! Then we got back in time for dinner and we had yummy hamburgers and corn on the cob. Then brad and i cut wood and made a fire. We roasted marshmellows and had s'mores with reeses of course! Then the wind started blowing really hard so we hurried and put everything away before it blew away. Then, sunday morning we had a delicious breakfast. Pancakes and eggs and ham. The Sheen's don't mess around. After breakfast, we went on a hike with brad's brother jeff and his daugher stevie and brad's niece amanda and their cousins kayla and emily. We went to where they want to build a cabin it's called "the cabin site" it was a fun hike. then, when we got back we watched the little kids launch water baloons! They loved it. Stevie, Amanda and Kayla loved being the targets. Then we just relaxed and got ready to eat dinner. Laraine made delicous chicken! and we had carrots and fruit! then we had dutch oven pupmkin cobler and choclote and cherry cobler. yummy! it started getting windy so we were all hanging out in the camper. then, we looked outside and the clouds were rolling down the mountain. it looked like smoke, it was crazy! we all had to go out and watch it! it was freezing! that night it rained and hailed all night long! Good thing we were in the camper! I loved this camping trip, it was amazing! More pictures:).

I know, it's been a long time since i've blogged. it's just that there hasn't been anything too exciting going on in my life lately. I did finish school and i'm now at a dentist office. but, i hate blogging things and not having fun pictures to go along with it. I also went to Idaho a couple weeks ago with my family and that was awesome. A lot of great things happened there :) that's pretty much it. Brad and I will go on a fun adventure and take pictures and i'll post them!

Ward Camp Out

Last weekend we had our ward camp out. We went up to Blackhawk and it was so fun and very beautiful. We had good food and a good turn out. We got up there and set or stuff up and got everything situated. Then we went to find fire wood to cut. Brad, Joel and I had some fun doing that...

Since Brad's been to Blackhawk before, (ever since he was born) he had a lot of cool places he wanted to show me.

We wanted to find a tree and carve our name in it. A little cheesy, but I like cheese!

This is officially our tree! I love it.

Saturday morning Brad and I decided to go shooting and on a hike. Brad was so sweet and taught me how to shoot. I was scared at first, but then it wasn't as bad as i thought!

Today was a very fun day. It all started with yummy breakfast with Brad at Magelby's Fresh! We both got french toast with their delicious syrup! After breakfast, we went on a walk down by the River Woods mall. Then, we went to American Fork to pick up Brad's new scooter that he was SO excited about!!

This is Brad and I on his scooter! After he bought it he taught me how to drive it. I'm getting pretty good I must say! I love it! After that we just relaxed for a while and ate ice cream at Brad's house. Then, we went to my family reunion up Provo canyon and Timp Park. We had delicious food and great fun. Even though I hardly even knew anyone there! After that, we went to the Stadium of Fire!!! It was such a blast! We loved it. Well, except we didn't love Miley Cirus. But we loved everything else!

These five little kids are my joys. I love them with all of my heart. I have the cutest nieces and nephews, ever! The oldest is Halle. She is five years old and the sweetest girl I know. Next, we have Gray. Oh my goodness, he is the funniest boy I know. He cracks jokes right and left. He is three years old and he is so smart. Next, we have Nash. He's six months and a very big boy! He is such a sweet little boy. Then, there is baby Boston. He is two months old and the cutest little boy ever. Not to mention, the best cuddler in the world. And last, but not least we have Sadie. Finally, another girl. She is so cute and has the biggest chubbiest cheeks ever. I am so grateful to be an aunt. It's the best thing ever. Next to being a mom I'm sure :)

Yesterday was a sad and hard father's day for our family, but great for my grandpa. My grandma and grandpa finally get to be together. It makes me so happy that she is out of pain and now with all of her loved ones on the other side. I'm sure it was a great reunion for her and my grandpa. But it makes me really sad that she's not with us anymore here. She was an amazing women and will be greatly missed. I love you grandma!

school is sucking the life right out of me. i cannot wait to be done. i will be done at the end of july. it will be the best day of my life. not that i don't love it. i just hate going to school in the summer. who does? you have to do homework while everyone else is playing and having fun. and i have to say "i have homework. i can't hang out." i am hoping it will all be worth it in the end. but, for now. i just had to vent!

Hello all! This is my very first blog post. I am very new to this whole thing and I am not even quite sure why I am doing one. It might be very boring because I'm not married and I don't have a family.
A little about me. I am the youngest in my family and all of my siblings are married. I have two brothers and one sister. I have 5 nieces and nephews and I love them with everything in me. My brother and sister-in-law and their three kids just moved into my house and it has been quite the adventure. But, I honestly love seeing them every morning and when I get home from work. I have the best family, ever.
Right now I am working at the Utah County Government building as a receptionist and I am also going to school at MATC and I'm doing dental assisting and I love it.
